In the end, Jimmy Neesham batted brilliantly and scored 58 runs in 39 balls. However, he could not lead the team to victory.

Australia’s fast bowling did not have the edge it should have. Mitchell Starc spent the most runs. Starc gave away 89 runs in 9 overs. New Zealand made a comeback
