Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka: Afghanistan won against Sri Lanka by 7 wickets in ODI 30 of the ongoing 2023 World Cup at the MCA Stadium in Pune. Chasing 242, Afghanistan scored 242/3 in 45.2 overs thanks to excellent batting.
The Afghans faced early trouble in their chase when opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz was out for a duck in four balls as Dilshan Madushanka dismissed him.
Madushanka struck again in the 17th over to dismiss Ibrahim Zadran (39). But from then on, it was all Afghanistan as they cruised to a comfortable win.
